Another six games, seven points off the top

League Two 2009/10 after 21 gamesSix more matches have passed since our last round-up, and it has been a pretty mixed bag for the Daggers. When we signed off last time just two points separated us from top spot but, despite a brief flirtation with pole position, nosebleed ensued and things went downhill with two points from four games. We’ve seen a lot of disruption to the team through various injuries and loan players, but a much-needed victory last weekend over Bury has put us back on the trail.

Dear Santa

It’s around the time where all the rugrats are writing their Christmas lists to post to Santa, whilst protesting how well behaved they’ve been throughout the year. Well, the Daggers have been pretty well behaved compared to most of the little buggers we’ve encountered, so hopefully the big bearded wonder can deliver a few things for us.

Tony RobertsSigned from Ryman Premier League St Albans City in 2000, Tony Roberts has been an unmovable figure in the Daggers goal throughout the noughties. His career includes a 13-year stint at QPR which took him from YTS to Premier League, and has seen him represent Wales from u18 all the way up to full international level. Now aged 40, he is still going strong in the Dagenham goal and whoever has to replace him will have an incredible act to follow.
